As a recent bride and also part of the Detailz team, I had a difficult time finding the perfect host to our wedding website. I wanted a website that incorporated all of the the aspects that I wanted in a page, while embodying the vibe of my wedding and being different from every other site I’ve seen. I didn’t want a generic site from the Knot, or some cheesy Flash-based template, but I was knot (pun intended) interested in spending the time or money for a custom solution. I wanted to have the ability for guests to RSVP, and also to include sneak peeks of the Detailz of our wedding for our guests. I also wanted to share our photos with guests after the event, and allow our guests to share their own pictures.
Enter Appy Couple, the newest, hippest way to keep your guests and bridal party in the loop. Apply Couple is a suite of products that includes a wedding website, emails to weddings guests, iPhone, iPad, and Android app in one. The app that your guests download enables them to not just access, but interact with your wedding website. This is not a typical blog post for Detailz Events, but this is a question A LOT of newly engaged couples ask me when they catch me face to face……in the midst of the excitement just after you get engaged, a few butterflies start fluttering as you think to yourself, “What do I do now?” The options and decisions to be made can seem ENDLESS!
